Dr. Zane Jackson

Dr. Zane Jackson graduated from medical school at the University of Toronto, after completing his PhD in molecular and cellular cardiovascular pathophysiology. He then trained in general surgery, completing his residency at the University of Toronto and becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2009. Dr. Jackson opened his surgical practice in 2009 at the Etobicoke General Hospital site of William Osler Health
System.

He specializes in laparoscopic colorectal surgery for both colon cancer and benign disease. Zane’s practice also includes the surgical treatment of breast cancer, gallbladder disease, and hernia, with an interest in advanced techniques for hernia repair.

He is currently the Medical Director of the Etobicoke Surgical Partners. Dr. Jackson is also an endoscopist both at Kensington Screening Clinic and at Medcan Endoscopy, preventing colon cancer through screening colonoscopy.

In his leisure time, he enjoys cycling, hiking and travelling with his wife and two daughters.
